Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS)
It is anticipated that the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) will be prepared by October 2010.
The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) will be prepared in conformance with Council of Environmental Quality (CEQ) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) NEPA regulations and guidance documents as well as Connecticut's Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) requirements.
Based on both agency expertise, and issues raised by the public the Draft EIS will have a full description of the affected environment, a reasonable range of alternatives, and an analysis of the impacts of each alternative.
The DEIS will be available from this website and copies will be distributed to all participating agencies, corridor town halls and public libraries, and any member of the public who requests inclusion in the distribution.
